This special day was invented by Thomas & Ruth Roy, it is a copyrighted holiday, which means if this day is used to raise money, you must first inform the creators and come to an arrangement.

I gather that they knew the importance for humans to get exercise and realized it is also unimportant for your plants to also be active for longevity.

Don’t worry too much if you’re a late bloomer, at least you have chosen now to improve the life of your houseplants.

The clearest way to get started would be to grab a leash, attach it to your pot, and head for the front door!

But let’s not be too hasty. Maybe the smarter way would be to cradle your houseplant in your arm and venture out.

Whatever you do ensure your friends and neighbors know all about this distinctive day so your houseplants can happily mingle. Just be prudent about any cross-pollination.
